Thai-Ayurvedic Massage
Originating in India, these massages combine acupressure, strokes, joint release, and stretching to restore the body's energy. The power of this work is a series of body opening exercises that release stress and tight muscles, allowing the body to return to its natural harmonic state. This work is simply a catalyst for the body to correct itself. With a conscious touch it gives deep relaxation and rejuvenation. Stretches are executed in conjunction with the client's natural rhythmic breathing and individual limit. The release is tremendous, which allows tension, emotional, physical and environmental stress in the muscles and tendons to dissipate and dissolve.
Thai Massage - Nicknamed 'Yoga massage,' the full body session is performed on a mattress on the floor and uses the same postures as yoga to move and stretch the body. During the 60 to 90-minute session, you wear loose, comfortable clothing. Starting at the feet and progressing up to the head, your body becomes realigned through a harmonious sequence of acupressure and stretches. With the release of stress and tension, you will feel a sense of wholeness, unity, and balance.
Ayurvedic Massage - During the 90-minute session,
you are massaged on a mattress on the floor with oil
and calamus herbal powder, a detoxifying agent that
assists in exfoliating the skin and allows the strokes
to go to a deeper level with a better grip on the body.
The massage combined with yoga stretches allow the body
to align and open the musculoskeletal structure, giving
more flexibility and strength.
